I noticed the caption under Lucy Lou’s picture. How sweet! I love it. Walter had a 4 day weekend last weekend and so Lucy Lou stayed home with him. Guess what. He taught her to bark and he thinks it's cute. Well, Tuesday I brought her to work with me and whenever I would leave my office, she would bark. NOT CUTE! So now, when she starts barking at home, I tell her no and put her in her room. He let her run the house and never gave her quiet time in her room. When I am off, I like to let her have her quiet time in her room for a couple hours at a time. That way she will learn to be alone. Now, I have to start all over again. She is growing up very fast. Yesterday, I taught her to jump off the couch and now today she can go down the stairs. What a brave little girl! I do want to find some training classes to take her to. She now thinks it's cute to run from me instead of following me. I see we have some work to do. I bought her a harness and leash yesterday. That is going to take some work I see. What a cutie!

Hi Rhandi! Cameo and I were a match made in heaven (the names have been cut down to Daphne or Paige...I'll let you know when I decide)!  She won't leave my side!  OMG she's the cutest and the sweetest dog I've ever met!  Cameo came out of her kennel very slowly, but once she was out she wouldn't let me put her down! :o)  We're just in love with each other.  We've played outside (and she very nicely went potty outside) and she's had some nutri-cal and water.  She's now laying on my lap while I'm working on the computer.  She's even wearing a collar without any fuss!  Speaking of fuss, I haven't heard her bark, whine, squeak...nothing!  She's so quiet! I couldn't ask for a better baby. :o) I have to tell you, when I arrived at the airport there were several other families waiting for other puppies (nine were flying in at the same time).  When they brought all of the dogs out Cameo was by far the cleanest (she smelled great too), had the nicest kennel, and had toys, warm blankets, etc.  The other dogs kennels were full of newspaper and they all looked dirty.  So sad. :o(  I can't thank you enough for taking such great care of my little girl, she has obviously been loved and in wonderful hands.  I will send pics soon!

I've finally decided to call her Emma!  She needed a sweet little name for such a sweet little girl.  I'm more in love with her today than I was yesterday, I don't think I could have found a better dog.  She slept in her kennel until 3am when she woke me up to go pee on her pad.  Then because she was so darn cute I took her to bed with me where she slept (and showered me with kisses) until I forced her out of bed at 9am!  Such a lazy little girlie! ;o)  I got out of bed and she sat up looked at me and laid back down with an expression like, "I'm not getting up yet".  I think the sassy side is starting to come out!  I finally got her to eat some kibble and she's now laying on my lap (she's the ultimate lap dog).  We took some great pics yesterday and I'll see about uploading them today to send them to you. :o)

Hi Rhandi,

I wanted to update you on the vet visit we had today.  Everything went very well, Emma was so well behaved and passed all inspections with flying colors and pee'd on her vet chart 'cause of course it's paper! ;o)  She didn't even cry when she got her Parvo vaccine and even allowed the vet to brush her teeth!  What a good dog.  When we got home we played for a little bit and then she started scratching and her little face swelled up!  We rushed back to the vet where she was given some Benedryl and she's now being watched for a few hours by the vet.  Everything looks fine but I'll let you know if it changes.  Poor little Emma gave her mommy quite a scare!  :o(  Otherwise things are great on our end, she's 80% wee pad trained and is quite the little charmer, loves car rides, and has her mommy very well trained.  I'll email you with updates about her condition later... Attached is a recent photo of Zelda with Chilli-dog. They love each other. They play and wrestle all day. She weighs 4 lb today and gets a lot of attention per pound where ever she goes.

Rhandi, The puppies are doing well. They have had a few play dates already! They love it when they get to see each other! We are working on potty training. Tia is doing well. She has gone outside most of the time and when she goes inside it is almost always on a potty pad. It has been hard for her to go outside because it has been raining so much but she is getting the hang of it. My brother is hilarious with her. He is a big guy that turns into a ball of mush when he is with her and my mom and dad have fallen completely in love. I also wanted to let you know that we took Tia to the vet on Thursday and Rudy to the vet on Wednesday. I mailed Tia's copy to you today and the neighbors will probably send theirs to you on Monday. I have to give them your address. Thanks for everything! We love them so much!

Oh my God!  He is missing !  He was here just a few hours ago.........and now no where to be found. I was asking neighbors.  Unfortunately right at this moment EVERYONE is SUSPECT. He's so cute I know they will lie. I CANNOT believe it. I just gave him a bath last night, and didn't put his collar back on! It has the county tag and a bell on it so he can be heard. GOD PLEASE HELP ME FIND LITTLE ROSCO! Do you have any suggestions! I talked to one of the directors of the Home Owners Association that I live in.  She said if I don't find him she will put it on the info board .  It's visible from your car as soon as you come into the entrance. Hi Rhandi:  Just a little update!!!!!!  First of all, my family tried to get me to change Esa'a name to Dixie.  I tried for only two days and I just couldn't make it work for me so I went back to Esa and I love it.  She is doing great.  She went to the vet on Friday and got her final puppy shot, rabies shot and worming.  Her weight is 2lbs 7oz.  She had grown some but not a lot.  I have sent you a picture of her.  She is crazy fun. Lots and lots of energy and so cute.  We really love her.  Thank you so much for her.

... I almost forgot.  Esa asked me to send a picture of her big sister Lucy.  This is not only her older sister but her best friend.  Paula

After a long plane ride, I finally landed in my new home. Mommy, Daddy, my sister Tara and her husband Andrew were there to greet me. After many hugs and kisses we got to the car and Mommy held me all the way home. I was so excited to see that Mommy got me all these great clothes and toys and a warm bed for me to sleep in. After a nice nap, they had a little party in my honor. I got more toys and a cute sweater and Valentine's Day dress. I got to meet more of my family and received lots of love. I think I am going to like it here in Philly. I have enclosed some pictures of me in my new home. Mommy is in one of the pictures holding me. I can tell she loves me so so so much! Tell Gucci I miss him and give him a hug for me.

What a fun day!!! She is so cute with the way she prances when she walks and hops when she runs. She definitely knows how to use pee pads!!! I showed her where to go and she goes all by herself and does her thing! Her and Carlie played and are getting to know each other, I agree they should be sleeping together in no time at all =). Chloe was nice enough to share her (pig hoof) treat with Carlie. Where do you get those? I decided to switch the water bowl to a regular bowl instead of the stainless steel one, Chloe could see herself and would not want to drink from the bowl. I think she ate wonderful again today and is adjusting very well. Carlie feels like a tank compared to Chloe =)!!! Chloe seems to be getting use to the new environment, she's not whimpering as much as the day goes on. Her vet visit is in the morning and we are enjoying getting to know her. She is such a good little kisser!!!! All we can say is THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH!!!!

Dear Rhandi,   I haven't been good about keeping in touch, but it has been a very busy year. Bella is doing great! She is a very loving little girl. She is definitely a mama's baby. It’s been a while since you sent Lulu to us, but I wanted to give you an update and send some pics of our sweet little girl. We could not adore her any more than we do. She is the prettiest little thing we’ve ever seen and her personality is phenominal.

She kind of went through the terrible two’s at about 4-7 months, pooping and peeing everywhere, tearing up everything, crying all the time, etc… I had read the training books but couldn’t get her to behave. So we put her in beginner’s training classes at Pet Smart. We both went with her each week so we could teach her consistently. We saw an immediate improvement in her personality/behavior. She graduated the 8 week course like a champ. Then we put her in the intermediate classes and again she was so happy socializing with the other dogs and owners, graduating top of her class. She is really good at learning tricks and she loves to do her training every day. We plan to put her in the next advanced class when it starts in February. She behaves well when we take her to other people’s homes, and on outings.

I don’t have her kennel trained, but in November I wanted to take her on a trip with me to Austin. I was wondering how I would do it since she is not accustomed to confined spaces. I had week to get her acclimated to the small airline approved bag that she would have to sit in for 5 hours going both ways. I was worried she would cry and make a scene, but she was so good.

This year for Christmas we sent out Christmas cards with Lulu’s picture. Everybody loved the card with her picture in it. I’ll attach the pic we sent just below. There’s a second one that turned out good too and it was hard to decide which pic to put in the Christmas cards. Hope you had a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

You know they say that small dogs usually prefer one owner over another but she loves us both equally. She’s the most affectionate little thing (to everyone).

The two pics below were taken a few months ago at our friends (Pete & Nina’s) backyard Barbeque. One is with Mommie and the other is with Daddy (Eric – who incidentally is head over heels for her - he is the best daddy).
