Hi Rhandi,
It's been a long time since we talked!  Mia is doing wonderful by the way.  She is without a doubt,, the BEST dog in the world.  She has a wonderful personality and continues to charm not only us, but friends and neighbors.  Which leads me to my next question.  I see on your website that you will be only offering your Mexican Frenchies...good for you.  They are adorable...  ...THANK YOU for little Mia.  She's everything we'd hoped for.  I'll see if I can get a new picture for you so you can see how cute she is at 8mos.  Good luck with your Mexican Frenchies!
Best regards,
JoAnne

From Julie in Kansas:

Dear Miss Rhandi,
I finally got these pics ready to send you.  Bandit and I have been sooooo busy.  It is sooooo much work to have a new puppy.  Bandit has adjusted to my home very well.  I absolutely love him, and he has brought so much joy to my home. I am still working on the potty training and some days it does not go very well.  He will go in his pin on command most of the time but has only successfully got himself to that spot by himself twice.  Boy did I celebrate!!!! I guess I had high expectations because Michele had such an easy time with Bailey.  One of the pictures that I sent is Bailey and Bandit visiting.  At, first it was touch and go with them with lots of growling, biting and barking.  They are still not the best of friends but do get along well enough, which is great for Michele and I.  We share dog sitting duties and this is nice since we both work full time.  Sorry it took so long for the pics but I just wanted you to know that Bandit and I are doing great. THANKS for my great ever loving puppy!
Julie

Ok, so Momma put me in puppy classes and oh my goodness I have sooo many new friends now. I walk into the room and everyone knows I'm there and wants to play with ME! Miss Denise, my teacher doesn't let the big dogs play with me, but I sure love to try to play with them. I've learned so many new tricks and my momma says I'm even "housebroken", whatever that is. All I know is that at 4:30am every morning I get to wake Momma up with kisses to go outside and potty before the birds are out of bed! I think it's pretty neat (I'm not really sure Momma feels the same way though)! ;o)

I get to go on lots of walks and when I get tired I'll just lay down and give Momma my most pathetic look and she'll pick me up every time! Works like a charm! And all of Momma's friends who didn't think they liked little dogs are in love with me! Even on the nights Momma goes out with her friends, I have a baby-sitter who offers to watch me! And I'm going in for my first haircut next week, Momma says I'll look gorgeous afterwards! Ahh...this is the life! Well, that's all for now. Hope you're doing well!

Loves and kisses,
Emma

PS-I'm already 4.2lbs! Momma says I'm growing up too fast, but I just can't wait any longer to be a big dog!

From Margie in Alaska:

Hi Rhandi,

I noticed the caption under Lucy Lou’s picture. How sweet! I love it. Walter had a 4 day weekend last weekend and so Lucy Lou stayed home with him. Guess what. He taught her to bark and he thinks it's cute. Well, Tuesday I brought her to work with me and whenever I would leave my office, she would bark. NOT CUTE! So now, when she starts barking at home, I tell her no and put her in her room. He let her run the house and never gave her quiet time in her room. When I am off, I like to let her have her quiet time in her room for a couple hours at a time. That way she will learn to be alone. Now, I have to start all over again. She is growing up very fast. Yesterday, I taught her to jump off the couch and now today she can go down the stairs. What a brave little girl! I do want to find some training classes to take her to. She now thinks it's cute to run from me instead of following me. I see we have some work to do. I bought her a harness and leash yesterday. That is going to take some work I see. What a cutie!

From Michele in Kansas :

Here's a few pictures of Bailey.  He just turned 3 months, had his visit to the vet.  He is up to 2 lbs 8 oz.  I can't imagine my life without him!! He is adorable, not to mention he is the king of the castle. I am thinking about another one to give him a play mate.  Do you advise that or would they rather be only dogs?

Thanks again

Michele

From Ken and Judy in Kansas :
(read more feedback from
Ken and Judy here)

Rhandi.......

You have no idea how many times I look at your web site to see the puppies and puppies in diapers.  They are so cute I wish we had one of each breed.

Tiger, well, we love him so very much.  He is now sleeping with us quite comfortably and he is a work of art. He really is a good baby boy.  He plays well with Sidney and tries hard to play with Merci but definitely knows when to back off.  We will never trust them together because Tiger is so playful and Merci is not.  But then, she never has been.  I don't think she was allowed to play.
He had his second "puppy cut" last Saturday.  I tell them not to cut the black off the beard and ears.  He is precious.  We always see a great dane and other big, heavy dogs.  I tell their owner to watch out, Tiger might bite their leg off.  He got his next set of shots last week, too.  The vet says he needs to lose his teeth or he can pull them at the same time he neuters him.  I had not heard of this before but there's a lot I haven't heard of.  He has lost a couple of front, lower teeth.  He weigh a whopping 5 lbs 4 oz and has probably doubled in size.
He's fun and we are so thankful Ken kept searching the web and found you and Tiger.
If you have a few weeks, let me know I can go on and on and on about him.  He is always so happy.  I can't imagine anyone mistreating animals or not wanting to be around them.  Look what they miss out on.

Thanks for everything.

Judy and Ken

From Heather in Washington:

Hi Rhandi! Cameo and I were a match made in heaven (the names have been cut down to Daphne or Paige...I'll let you know when I decide)!  She won't leave my side!  OMG she's the cutest and the sweetest dog I've ever met!  Cameo came out of her kennel very slowly, but once she was out she wouldn't let me put her down! :o)  We're just in love with each other.  We've played outside (and she very nicely went potty outside) and she's had some nutri-cal and water.  She's now laying on my lap while I'm working on the computer.  She's even wearing a collar without any fuss!  Speaking of fuss, I haven't heard her bark, whine, squeak...nothing!  She's so quiet! I couldn't ask for a better baby. :o) I have to tell you, when I arrived at the airport there were several other families waiting for other puppies (nine were flying in at the same time).  When they brought all of the dogs out Cameo was by far the cleanest (she smelled great too), had the nicest kennel, and had toys, warm blankets, etc.  The other dogs kennels were full of newspaper and they all looked dirty.  So sad. :o(  I can't thank you enough for taking such great care of my little girl, she has obviously been loved and in wonderful hands.  I will send pics soon!

Thank you,

Heather

*********************************

I've finally decided to call her Emma!  She needed a sweet little name for such a sweet little girl.  I'm more in love with her today than I was yesterday, I don't think I could have found a better dog.  She slept in her kennel until 3am when she woke me up to go pee on her pad.  Then because she was so darn cute I took her to bed with me where she slept (and showered me with kisses) until I forced her out of bed at 9am!  Such a lazy little girlie! ;o)  I got out of bed and she sat up looked at me and laid back down with an expression like, "I'm not getting up yet".  I think the sassy side is starting to come out!  I finally got her to eat some kibble and she's now laying on my lap (she's the ultimate lap dog).  We took some great pics yesterday and I'll see about uploading them today to send them to you. :o)

Heather

*********************************

Hi Rhandi,

I wanted to update you on the vet visit we had today.  Everything went very well, Emma was so well behaved and passed all inspections with flying colors and pee'd on her vet chart 'cause of course it's paper! ;o)  She didn't even cry when she got her Parvo vaccine and even allowed the vet to brush her teeth!  What a good dog.  When we got home we played for a little bit and then she started scratching and her little face swelled up!  We rushed back to the vet where she was given some Benedryl and she's now being watched for a few hours by the vet.  Everything looks fine but I'll let you know if it changes.  Poor little Emma gave her mommy quite a scare!  :o(  Otherwise things are great on our end, she's 80% wee pad trained and is quite the little charmer, loves car rides, and has her mommy very well trained.  I'll email you with updates about her condition later... Heather

From Alex in Indiana:

Rhandi,

This is like a dream having this little bundle of joy.....she came to the front of the crate with her tail wagging. She is adorable!!!!! She really bonded with Vicki and Vicki just loves her. We got a lot of puppy kisses and she seems to be settling right in.

Will write more later...thank you very much for everything. We are trying to pick the perfect name for her.

Alex

*********************************
Rhandi, Wanted to let you know we named our sweet one...Annie.  She is such a joy and my husband, I, and anyone who sees her thinks she is precious.  She doesn't whimper very much now when she is crated.  Wanted to make sure the carrier she came in is ok to use for her sleeping quarters or should she have a metal crate? She went to the Vet yesterday (April 14, 2008) and I will put the papers in mail today.  Of course the girls that work there thought she was adorable. Let me know if I didn't send the right ones.  She weighs 2 pounds and appears to be doing just fine.  I was a little worried about her left eye....because sometimes you can see a lot more white in it.  The Vet thought everything was fine.  He probably has my number and knows I am a "worrier". LOL We love our little Annie and she says to send you love and kisses. Alex

From Margie in Alaska:

I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for all of your help in getting my (Lucy Lou). It is really clear to me how much you care for your animals and I cannot tell you how much that means. The minute I saw pictures, I could tell that they were well taken care of. The fact that you are making every effort to make sure I will treat her right and will keep her safe and warm really proves it that much more. So, thank you! If you didn’t care so much, you wouldn’t show concern for her long flight or that fact that she is moving to Alaska. I am forever grateful to have found you!

Margie

*********************************
Lucy Lou did wonderful! What a love! She kissed and kissed and kissed me the whole way home! She ate some nutria-cal and 4 kibbles on the way home. She has been drinking water also. She is so excited, she has played with every toy of hers. I bought a baby mirror that you tie to a crib and tied it to the baby gate and she loves it. She has been running up to it. She was not a mess at all when I got her. It’s hard to believe that I have been up for 21 hours!

Margie

*********************************
1 more update before I call it a night.
She has drank a bunch of water and eaten more food. She is really excited and not at all wore out! Looks like I will be sleeping in her room with her tonight because she is barking and crying when left. We will have to work on that this weekend so she gets used to it, but for tonight I will sleep with her.
She went poop on her pad!
Have a good night!

Margie

*********************************
What a total love! I didn’t get much sleep but that is ok. She comes when I call her. She is so happy and excited. She loves to lick everyone’s faces to death! She really drank a lot of water last night and the result is she peed a lot and on the pad. I am really impressed. Today we are going to work on getting her used to her room, just like getting her used to a crate. I have read your suggestions on crate training and that is how we will do it. Thank you so much for such a wonderful addition to our family. We absolutely love her. I couldn’t have asked for a better gift (she is my early 30th birthday present). She will be getting a nice bath today. I can’t wait to buy her some bows. Any suggestions on where to look?

Thank you so much Rhandi!

Margie

Hi Rhandi,

Attached is a recent photo of Zelda with Chilli-dog. They love each other. They play and wrestle all day. She weighs 4 lb today and gets a lot of attention per pound where ever she goes.

We just love her.

Thanks again,
Simona

From Stephanie in Texas:

Rhandi–

Just wanted you to know that we went to the vet yesterday for (Suzy Pepper's) checkup – and of course all is well. He was very impressed with her, needless to say. We are on a schedule for the rest of her shots, etc. I will get the papers in the mail to you.

Thanks –

Stephanie

From Paul and Linda in Virginia:

Good Afternoon Rhandi,

Riley is such a delight. We both love him very much. Paul almost plays with him constantly (what time I am not playing with him), and Riley has taken two naps with me. He is eating even better than when he first arrived. He eats off the floor better than out of his dish...
We want to thank you again for our precious little baby. Also, for all the information and patience you have provided us...

Take care,

Linda

From Amanda in Missouri:

Rhandi, The puppies are doing well. They have had a few play dates already! They love it when they get to see each other! We are working on potty training. Tia is doing well. She has gone outside most of the time and when she goes inside it is almost always on a potty pad. It has been hard for her to go outside because it has been raining so much but she is getting the hang of it. My brother is hilarious with her. He is a big guy that turns into a ball of mush when he is with her and my mom and dad have fallen completely in love. I also wanted to let you know that we took Tia to the vet on Thursday and Rudy to the vet on Wednesday. I mailed Tia's copy to you today and the neighbors will probably send theirs to you on Monday. I have to give them your address. Thanks for everything! We love them so much!

Amanda

From Randy in Missouri:

Yeah, we love Rudy, he is so cute and so cuddly.  He loves to snuggle.  Him and Tia spend time together each day either at my house or at Amandas house.  They really seem happy when they get to see eachother.

From Donna in Kansas:

Hi Rhandi, I've learned it holds true for dogs as well as kids...one is like none and two is like ten!  We've been very busy but loving it!  Miss Murphy is a wonderfully sweet puppy.  Quite the sassy one but very sweet.  She is a little cutie!!! I've attached the Physical Exam Report Card from our Vet.  I hope this is okay but if you'd like it sent through the U.S. mail we'd be happy to do that as well. Thanks for everything.  I know we'll have many happy years with our Miss Murphy!

Donna

March 2008

I am posting the following, heart-wrenching email only to remind puppy parents how very important it is to make sure your precious pets are identifiable at all times with a tag, microchip, etc...

~Rhandi

From Nikki in Florida:

Oh my God!  He is missing !  He was here just a few hours ago.........and now no where to be found. I was asking neighbors.  Unfortunately right at this moment EVERYONE is SUSPECT. He's so cute I know they will lie. I CANNOT believe it. I just gave him a bath last night, and didn't put his collar back on! It has the county tag and a bell on it so he can be heard. GOD PLEASE HELP ME FIND LITTLE ROSCO! Do you have any suggestions! I talked to one of the directors of the Home Owners Association that I live in.  She said if I don't find him she will put it on the info board .  It's visible from your car as soon as you come into the entrance. Oh I pray he's okay, and he safely returns to me. Nikki

*********************************
...I couldn't even focus to study, had a serious migraine. I went to sleep. Woke up to a knock on the door. The lady at the HOA came to my door , gave me a #. Said she'd noticed a sign that wasn't there this morning with a #. Sign said "Small dog found, call to ID".  I told her I'd be there 2night.  So now I write to tell you..............He's safe in my arms. Nikki

From Linda in Canada:

Hi Rhandi! I took Milo to the vet for a health check on March 5th and mailed the letter from the vet to you on Friday. Milo is doing very well, he's super playful and he's such a brave little dog. He drags his rope toy around and thinks I should chase him for it! We also went out in the snow and he loved it. I opened the back door and he jumped right into the pile of snow. It was really adorable. I took some pictures-have a look! He's starting to learn where to pee pee and poo, but I keep finding dribbles of pee on the carpet =/. Well, I'll keep you updated and enjoy the pics =D

-Linda

From Lori in Ohio:

Hi Randi, I thought you would like to see some recent pictures of Vivian.  She is awesome and we love her.  I will call you later to talk about the puppies.

Thanks, Lori

From Simona in California:

Rhoda (still working on a new name... maybe Zelda)... has certainly moved in. She has decided that her favorite place to get warm is inside my robe (while on me) while poking her head out the top. She and Chilli-dog are really getting along. They play, he drools on her, and play kissy-face. She is doing pretty well in the crate. She sleeps from 9:00 until 4:30 am. Potty training is hit and miss. She'll get there.

From JoAnne and Joe in Virginia:
(read more feedback from JoAnne and Joe here)

Hi Rhandi, Just a quick note to say hello and send a couple pictures of Mia.  She's doing great!  She charms everyone who meets her.  She was 4.4 pounds on her last visit to the vet, probably around 5 pounds by now.  She still loves her crate (yay!) and hops right in each night for bed.  All is well on this end, just wanted you to know how she's doing and how much we LOVE HER!

Regards, JoAnne and Joe

From Jacque in Minnesota:

Hi, I brought Georgie to the vet yesterday, I'll give you a copy as soon as I can. Also Donovan and her are doing great! They just love to play together. I'll be sending you some pictures soon.

Love,
Jacqueline

From Anne in Massachusetts:

Hi Rhandi,

We got her! (Rosie) is even more cute than the photos. She peed and pooped, but still hasn't eaten anything! She is asleep on my husband's shoulder! Thanks so much for this adorable pet! We already love her!

Anne

*********************************
Hi Rhandi,

I mailed the well visit paper to you yesterday. I need to order her that food as she is eating so much!!! Would you mind forwarding that web site again so I can get her food straightened? This doggie is so friendly!! We all kept disagreeing on a new name for Rosie so we are keeping her name from you!! She is a Rosie!!! My vet is surprised by how nice she is!!! He said she has no aggressive behaviors that can sometimes be seen with chihuahuas! I've been there twice already and the entire office loves her!
Thanks again for this great doggie!!

Anne

From Jennifer in Illinois:

He arrived safe and on time. He came right out of the cage tail wagging and jumping around. He is already a people magnet! He has not been scared at all. He ate food and drank water right away. I got him one of those north state pet yards. So far jasper is well behaved and so cute! And he is just so bouncy! Thank you for a wonderful puppy! I will keep you up to date over the next few days! Thanks again

*********************************
I took him to the vet today and he got another set of vaccinations and his heartwormer. He is doing really good. He has started going to the bathroom outside. I ordered him food and some treats. He is well behaved and a joy to have in our family!

Hi Rhandi, Here are some pictures of Parquer and little Paisley. She is very loved and gets spoiled all the time. She's a sweetie!!!

From Ken and Judy in Kansas:

Rhandi,
We finally got into the Vet this morning for our new puppies' health check-up. The Doc. said he is in excellent shape and we scheduled his next shots and his big operation (neuter).

We have changed his name to "Tiger" because Judy is Tiger Woods' biggest fan. Because he is such a big boy, the name sort of fits him. He has really been a good boy and we already love him very much. (Except for Merci, our fat bulldog is just putting up with him, can't say she loves him yet!).

Thanks again for a wonderful addition to our family!

Ken and Judy

Hi Rhandi:  Just a little update!!!!!!  First of all, my family tried to get me to change Esa'a name to Dixie.  I tried for only two days and I just couldn't make it work for me so I went back to Esa and I love it.  She is doing great.  She went to the vet on Friday and got her final puppy shot, rabies shot and worming.  Her weight is 2lbs 7oz.  She had grown some but not a lot.  I have sent you a picture of her.  She is crazy fun. Lots and lots of energy and so cute.  We really love her.  Thank you so much for her.

... I almost forgot.  Esa asked me to send a picture of her big sister Lucy.  This is not only her older sister but her best friend.  Paula

From Michelle in Pennsylvania:

Dear Rhandi,

After a long plane ride, I finally landed in my new home. Mommy, Daddy, my sister Tara and her husband Andrew were there to greet me. After many hugs and kisses we got to the car and Mommy held me all the way home. I was so excited to see that Mommy got me all these great clothes and toys and a warm bed for me to sleep in. After a nice nap, they had a little party in my honor. I got more toys and a cute sweater and Valentine's Day dress. I got to meet more of my family and received lots of love. I think I am going to like it here in Philly. I have enclosed some pictures of me in my new home. Mommy is in one of the pictures holding me. I can tell she loves me so so so much! Tell Gucci I miss him and give him a hug for me.

Love,
Sophie

From Beth in California:

Hi Rhandi!

I just wanted to send you a quick email to let you that Bentley (new name) is doing great!!  I just took him to the vet and all is well.  Would you like for me to mail or fax you the paperwork?

He is doing so well and has already picked up potty training.  I am so thrilled.  Also, I was able to convince my roommate to switch to Life's Abundance dog food, so now both dogs are on it now! He is eating regularly now too! He is completely spoiled already and really loves his new home.

Thanks again and I will send some pics soon!

Beth

From Jennifer in California:

Hi Rhandi,

So sorry it took so long, Seattle traffic is terrible during rush hour, plus we live far from the airport!  (Chloe) is the tiniest thing we've ever seen!!!!  Just walked in the door, she ate for us at the airport and is a very curious little sweetie.  Carlie seems a little jealous, but they are checking each other out right now and I want Chloe to eat a little more before bed.  Feel free to call us anytime!  I will e-mail more later with pictures and can't believe how TIIIINNNNYYYY she is!  She had an audience at the airport!  I don't think Carlie was that small.  Your babies are such good eaters.  I'm going to go take care of a few things for her, warm up her disc and cuddle her up with food and her bear.  We are definitely in love already!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Sorry it took so long for this e-mail, talk with you soon.  THANK YOU!

Laurie

*********************************
Rhandi,

She's settling in and starting to yawn.  I think she ate very well tonight, some at the airport and more when we got home.  She's gone to the bathroom and used the peep pad like a champ!   What's your secret to giving the nutri-drops, she didn't seem to like it????  She really loves the heated disc!!!!!!!!!!!  She's whimpering a little but I think it's because she miss you and her sister=(.  Here are a few pictures to show she's eating and loving the things you sent with her.  She's closed her eye's and resting her head on her bear, how sweet!  We will e-mail you in the morning and let you know how the night goes.  It's weird that she looks soooo much bigger in pictures than how small she really is in person!!!!  Thank you for another beautiful baby!!!

Have a good night!

Laurie, Chris, Carlie & Chloe

What a fun day!!! She is so cute with the way she prances when she walks and hops when she runs. She definitely knows how to use pee pads!!! I showed her where to go and she goes all by herself and does her thing! Her and Carlie played and are getting to know each other, I agree they should be sleeping together in no time at all =). Chloe was nice enough to share her (pig hoof) treat with Carlie. Where do you get those? I decided to switch the water bowl to a regular bowl instead of the stainless steel one, Chloe could see herself and would not want to drink from the bowl. I think she ate wonderful again today and is adjusting very well. Carlie feels like a tank compared to Chloe =)!!! Chloe seems to be getting use to the new environment, she's not whimpering as much as the day goes on. Her vet visit is in the morning and we are enjoying getting to know her. She is such a good little kisser!!!! All we can say is THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH!!!!

Both the babies send kisses,

Laurie & Chris

From April in Georgia:

Hey,
Sorry I have been running so and have been out of pocket.  Cloe (new spelling, at the 10 yr. old's request) is doing just great.  She is so precious.  I did mail you the vet's first visit results, but I just got it returned back to me this past Sat.  I know your complete address now, and will forward it again. Cloe went to the beach with me and 5 other ladies last weekend and did just fine.  All the ladies loved her!  She loves her crate and is potty trained now.  She is very bright. I would definitely recommend you as the perfect place for a small dog.
Thanks,
April

From Marcie in Tennessee:

Rhandi,
Just thought I'd send a hi from Panda. You absolutely would not believe what a hair coat he has on him. Its white as snow and as thick as wool but as soft as a rabbit. He is the funniest little thing I have ever seen. When he goes outside he will get a leaf and toss it up in the air and play with it like a little puppy for half an hour. He acts just like a puppy and it takes absolutely nothing to amuse him. He is the most hyper little dude I have ever seen. Its so funny though b/c I just moved my other boy to where he sleeps right across the hallway from Panda and it makes Panda so mad. He pins his ears back at A.J. and snarls his nose up and barks at him like he would kill him if he could get to him. Its funny b/c A.J. could care less. Anyway, Panda's birthday is tomorrow and I just wanted to tell you again how proud of him my husband and I are. I am going to try to shoot a little video of him in the next week or so to show you how hyper he is and what fun he has out of the least little things. Here is a picture of him I took the other day. Take care!

From Christina in California:

(Ivy) that's her name! she's so amazing! she's the cutest baby ever. Thanks for checking in. she's already familiar with everything in my room. she's very loving to everyone and she already knows I'm here mommy because i'll walk away for a second to go into another room and she'll sit in the hallway and bark for me to come and pick her up. I took her to the vet on saturday and they gave her her "corona shot". do you know about those? they go with another shot that you took her for when she was living with you. she'll be going every other week for a new vaccine.

From Nicole in North Carolina:

From Ashley in Kansas:

Piper is her new name. She is so good, going to the bathroom on her pads.  I am just a nervous wreck. Maddie, our dog,  is just so excited and wants to play with Piper.  Piper is so scared because Maddie is way bigger than her.  Maddie is wanting to play and is so excited.  I have been sitting on the floor giving them both treats at the same time and they are good then, but once I stop the treats Maddie wants to run and chase Piper and paw at her.  She attempts to but I won't let her.  I know she is just trying to play, but I am just afraid she will hurt Piper on accident. Please let me know if you have any ideas.  I am going to talk to my vet soon.

From Harrison in Massachusetts:

Hey Rhandi!
That is funny u emailed, because I was just thinking about emailing you. (Pebbles) is doing very well and is eating a lot better than she was the first night and day. Sunday night she played this game where she will go get a couple kibbles and then go out to the living room and eat them...it was possibly the cutest thing I've ever seen. I also took her to a pet store yesterday and got her some new sweaters and she made quite an impression on everyone in there...overall she is doing great and I am that much better now that she is here. Thank you so much for giving me all this joy. I will keep you posted.

Hey!!
Sorry I'm just getting back to you. I have been using my other school's email account lately to get use to it and have not check this one in about a week. I decided to change her name to Pebbles. She just gets cuter by the minute..right now she's sleeping on my feet as i write this email. haha. I don't have a functional camera right now, but when i get one (which should be sometime in the next week or two) i will send you some picture of her. Hope all is well!

From Paula in Kansas:

Hi Rhandi.  This is Esa!!!   My Mommy and Daddy changed my name to Dixie.  I love my new mommy and daddy and they love me too.  I know my way around the house and can go in every room now.  My Daddy says I am the cutest puppy he has ever had.  I decided not to pretend I was quiet and shy anymore and started to run and bite my Mommy and Daddy's feet.  They seen to be ok with it.  I use my puppy pad to potty every time and my Mommy claps for me and tell me I am a very smart and good girl.  I sleep with my Mommy and Daddy every night and sometimes I chew on their ears and noses.  They like that too.  I think this is a perfect home for me and my new Mommy and Daddy say that I am perfect too.  I will let you know how I grow.  Thanks for finding me a good home.  Love Dixie.

From Abby in Missouri:

Rhandi,
We are really enjoying our new baby! His trip home went well, he sat on my lap most of the way because he cried in the carrier. He is full of fun and loves to chew on anything and everything! Potty training is actually going better than I expected at this point - he goes on the paper almost every time. The kids are having so much fun playing with him! (although Kara is a little jealous of all the attention the new baby is getting :-) ) We want to thank you again for your help in our process of adopting Meeko - he is wonderful!

Dear Rhandi,   I haven't been good about keeping in touch, but it has been a very busy year. Bella is doing great! She is a very loving little girl. She is definitely a mama's baby. I wouldn't have it any other way! I watch your website and am sure that I will be looking for a companion for Bella in the near future. My sister-in-law is also looking for a maltese, but would prefere a tiny one. Do you ever have any tinies or teacups? Let me know where I could refer her if you don't. Thank you again so much for Bella!

From Christi in Kansas:

Hi Rhandi Well, it has been over a week since we bought Indigo from you.  We have named him Bear.  He looks like a little polar bear.  We have taken him to the vet already and he weighs 3.3 pounds.   He is such a sweetheart.  The whole family just loves him to pieces. Thank you soooo much for our little Bear. Christi

From JoAnne and Joe in Virginia:

Dear Rhandi,

OH MY!  (Mia) is cuter than we could have imagined!  We had dinner, played, and now trying to figure out where she will sleep.  The ride home from the airport was quiet, but once we got home, she really started charming us.  Honestly, she is just adorable and seems to be adjusting fine.  She is playing with her toys, exploring and cuddling with both Joe and I.  We were so touched to see the goodies you put in her crate for the trip and the phone call you made while we were on the phone on the other end.  I'll give you and update tomorrow.  Just wanted you to know all is well on this end.  Thanks for taking such good care of her!

Hi Rhandi,

One quick note that will make you laugh:

My friend from work moved a few months ago, to Kansas City.  She's a dog lover, and asked about my new puppy.  I sent the pictures you took and told her she was a Mal Shi.  Interestingly, her friend Tim, from her new job told her yesterday HE was getting a Mal Shi......!   Long story short:  IT'S YOUR SIMON (now Meeko)! What a small world, huh?

We are both amazed at the randomness of that!

Thanks again,
JoAnne

She's doing great!  She seems to understand the outside potty thing.  She's not perfect yet, it's really a matter of timing and training us!  She had no accidents yesterday at all.  She eats, sleeps and plays - all as she should (loves her crate!).  She has a wonderful personality that makes us both laugh constantly.  She learned how to "sit" in one day - and does it PROUDLY on command.

We love her to death!  I'll try to get some new pictures, but just wanted you to know she's doing great.

Regards,
JoAnne

From Melinda in Louisiana:

Rhandi,

It’s been a while since you sent Lulu to us, but I wanted to give you an update and send some pics of our sweet little girl. We could not adore her any more than we do. She is the prettiest little thing we’ve ever seen and her personality is phenominal.

She kind of went through the terrible two’s at about 4-7 months, pooping and peeing everywhere, tearing up everything, crying all the time, etc… I had read the training books but couldn’t get her to behave. So we put her in beginner’s training classes at Pet Smart. We both went with her each week so we could teach her consistently. We saw an immediate improvement in her personality/behavior. She graduated the 8 week course like a champ. Then we put her in the intermediate classes and again she was so happy socializing with the other dogs and owners, graduating top of her class. She is really good at learning tricks and she loves to do her training every day. We plan to put her in the next advanced class when it starts in February. She behaves well when we take her to other people’s homes, and on outings.

I don’t have her kennel trained, but in November I wanted to take her on a trip with me to Austin. I was wondering how I would do it since she is not accustomed to confined spaces. I had week to get her acclimated to the small airline approved bag that she would have to sit in for 5 hours going both ways. I was worried she would cry and make a scene, but she was so good.

This year for Christmas we sent out Christmas cards with Lulu’s picture. Everybody loved the card with her picture in it. I’ll attach the pic we sent just below. There’s a second one that turned out good too and it was hard to decide which pic to put in the Christmas cards. Hope you had a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

You know they say that small dogs usually prefer one owner over another but she loves us both equally. She’s the most affectionate little thing (to everyone).

The two pics below were taken a few months ago at our friends (Pete & Nina’s) backyard Barbeque. One is with Mommie and the other is with Daddy (Eric – who incidentally is head over heels for her - he is the best daddy).

Thanks again Rhandi for our little ray of sunshine.

Sincerely, Melinda
