| I am posting the following, heart-wrenching email only to remind puppy parents how very important it is to make sure your precious pets are identifiable at all times with a tag, microchip, etc... My heart goes out to Nikki. Let's all pray that little Rosco comes home soon!
~Rhandi
From Nikki in Florida: Oh my God! He is missing ! He was here just a few hours ago.........and now no where to be found. I was asking neighbors. Unfortunately right at this moment EVERYONE is SUSPECT. He's so cute I know they will lie. I CANNOT believe it. I just gave him a bath last night, and didn't put his collar back on! It has the county tag and a bell on it so he can be heard. GOD PLEASE HELP ME FIND LITTLE ROSCO! Do you have any suggestions! I talked to one of the directors of the Home Owners Association that I live in. She said if I don't find him she will put it on the info board . It's visible from your car as soon as you come into the entrance. Oh I pray he's okay, and he safely returns to me. Nikki |

From Linda in Canada:
Hi Rhandi! I took Milo to the vet for a health check on March 5th and mailed the letter from the vet to you on Friday. Milo is doing very well, he's super playful and he's such a brave little dog. He drags his rope toy around and thinks I should chase him for it! We also went out in the snow and he loved it. I opened the back door and he jumped right into the pile of snow. It was really adorable. I took some pictures-have a look! He's starting to learn where to pee pee and poo, but I keep finding dribbles of pee on the carpet =/. Well, I'll keep you updated and enjoy the pics =D

Vivian. She is awesome and we love her. I will call you later to talk
about the puppies.
Thanks, Lori |

From Simona in California:
Rhoda (still working on a new name... maybe Zelda)... has certainly moved in. She has decided that her favorite place to get warm is inside my robe (while on me) while poking her head out the top. She and Chilli-dog are really getting along. They play, he drools on her, and play kissy-face. She is doing pretty well in the crate. She sleeps from 9:00 until 4:30 am. Potty training is hit and miss. She'll get there.

Hi Rhandi, Just a quick note to say hello and send a couple pictures of Mia. She's doing great! She charms everyone who meets her. She was 4.4 pounds on her last visit to the vet, probably around 5 pounds by now. She still loves her crate (yay!) and hops right in each night for bed. All is well on this end, just wanted you to know how she's doing and how much we LOVE HER!
Regards, JoAnne and Joe

From Anne in Massachusetts:
Hi Rhandi,
We got her! (Rosie) is even more cute than the photos.
She peed and pooped, but still hasn't eaten anything! She is asleep on my husband's shoulder!
Thanks so much for this adorable pet! We already love her!

Hi Rhandi,
I mailed the well visit paper to you yesterday. I need to order her that food as she is eating so much!!! Would you mind forwarding that web site again so I can get her food straightened? This doggie is so friendly!! We all kept disagreeing on a new name for Rosie so we are keeping her name from you!! She is a Rosie!!! My vet is surprised by how nice she is!!! He said she has no aggressive behaviors that can sometimes be seen with chihuahuas! I've been there twice already and the entire office loves her!
Thanks again for this great doggie!!

From Jennifer in Illinois:
He arrived safe and on time. He came right out of the cage tail wagging and jumping around. He is already a people magnet! He has not been scared at all. He ate food and drank water right away. I got him one of those north state pet yards. So far jasper is well behaved and so cute! And he is just so bouncy! Thank you for a wonderful puppy! I will keep you up to date over the next few days! Thanks again |
| ********************************* |
| I took him to the vet today and he got another set of vaccinations and his heartwormer. He is doing really good. He has started going to the bathroom outside. I ordered him food and some treats. He is well behaved and a joy to have in our family! |

From Ken and Judy in Kansas:
Rhandi,
We finally got into the Vet this morning for our new puppies' health check-up. The Doc. said he is in excellent shape and we scheduled his next shots and his big operation (neuter).
We have changed his name to "Tiger" because Judy is Tiger Woods' biggest fan. Because he is such a big boy, the name sort of fits him. He has really been a good boy and we already love him very much. (Except for Merci, our fat bulldog is just putting up with him, can't say she loves him yet!).
Thanks again for a wonderful addition to our family!

Hi Rhandi: Just a little update!!!!!! First of all, my family tried to get me to change Esa'a name to Dixie. I tried for only two days and I just couldn't make it work for me so I went back to Esa and I love it. She is doing great. She went to the vet on Friday and got her final puppy shot, rabies shot and worming. Her weight is 2lbs 7oz. She had grown some but not a lot. I have sent you a picture of her. She is crazy fun. Lots and lots of energy and so cute. We really love her. Thank you so much for her.
...
I almost forgot. Esa asked me to send a picture of her big sister Lucy. This is not only her older sister but her best friend. Paula |

From Michelle in Pennsylvania:
Dear Rhandi,
After a long plane ride, I finally landed in my new home. Mommy, Daddy, my sister Tara and her husband Andrew were there to greet me. After many hugs and kisses we got to the car and Mommy held me all the way home. I was so excited to see that Mommy got me all these great clothes and toys and a warm bed for me to sleep in. After a nice nap, they had a little party in my honor. I got more toys and a cute sweater and Valentine's Day dress. I got to meet more of my family and received lots of love. I think I am going to like it here in Philly. I have enclosed some pictures of me in my new home. Mommy is in one of the pictures holding me. I can tell she loves me so so so much! Tell Gucci I miss him and give him a hug for me.
Love,

Hi Rhandi!
I just wanted to send you a quick email to let you that Bentley (new name) is doing great!! I just took him to the vet and all is well. Would you like for me to mail or fax you the paperwork?
He is doing so well and has already picked up potty training. I am so thrilled. Also, I was able to convince my roommate to switch to Life's Abundance dog food, so now both dogs are on it now! He is eating regularly now too! He is completely spoiled already and really loves his new home.
Thanks again and I will send some pics soon!

From Laurie in Washington:

So sorry it took so long, Seattle traffic is terrible during rush hour, plus we live far from the airport! (Chloe) is the tiniest thing we've ever seen!!!! Just walked in the door, she ate for us at the airport and is a very curious little sweetie. Carlie seems a little jealous, but they are checking each other out right now and I want Chloe to eat a little more before bed. Feel free to call us anytime! I will e-mail more later with pictures and can't believe how TIIIINNNNYYYY she is! She had an audience at the airport! I don't think Carlie was that small. Your babies are such good eaters. I'm going to go take care of a few things for her, warm up her disc and cuddle her up with food and her bear. We are definitely in love already!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sorry it took so long for this e-mail, talk with you soon. THANK YOU!
Laurie
|
| ********************************* |
| Rhandi,
She's settling in and starting to yawn. I think she ate very well tonight, some at the airport and more when we got home. She's gone to the bathroom and used the peep pad like a champ! What's your secret to giving the nutri-drops, she didn't seem to like it???? She really loves the heated disc!!!!!!!!!!! She's whimpering a little but I think it's because she miss you and her sister=(. Here are a few pictures to show she's eating and loving the things you sent with her. She's closed her eye's and resting her head on her bear, how sweet! We will e-mail you in the morning and let you know how the night goes. It's weird that she looks soooo much bigger in pictures than how small she really is in person!!!! Thank you for another beautiful baby!!!
Have a good night!
Laurie, Chris, Carlie & Chloe |
| ********************************* |
Rhandi,
What a fun day!!! She is so cute with the way she prances when she walks and hops when she runs. She definitely knows how to use pee pads!!! I showed her where to go and she goes all by herself and does her thing! Her and Carlie played and are getting to know each other, I agree they should be sleeping together in no time at all =). Chloe was nice enough to share her (pig hoof) treat with Carlie. Where do you get those? I decided to switch the water bowl to a regular bowl instead of the stainless steel one, Chloe could see herself and would not want to drink from the bowl. I think she ate wonderful again today and is adjusting very well. Carlie feels like a tank compared to Chloe =)!!! Chloe seems to be getting use to the new environment, she's not whimpering as much as the day goes on. Her vet visit is in the morning and we are enjoying getting to know her. She is such a good little kisser!!!! All we can say is THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH!!!!
Both the babies send kisses,
Laurie & Chris |

From April in Georgia:
Hey,
Sorry I have been running so and have been out of pocket. Cloe (new
spelling, at the 10 yr. old's request) is doing just great. She is so
precious. I did mail you the vet's first visit results, but I just got it
returned back to me this past Sat. I know your complete address now, and
will forward it again.
Cloe went to the beach with me and 5 other ladies last weekend and did just
fine. All the ladies loved her! She loves her crate and is potty trained
now. She is very bright.
I would definitely recommend you as the perfect place for a small dog.
Thanks,
April

From Marcie in Tennessee:
Rhandi,
Just thought I'd send a hi from Panda. You absolutely would not believe what a hair coat he has on him. Its white as snow and as thick as wool but as soft as a rabbit. He is the funniest little thing I have ever seen. When he goes outside he will get a leaf and toss it up in the air and play with it like a little puppy for half an hour. He acts just like a puppy and it takes absolutely nothing to amuse him. He is the most hyper little dude I have ever seen. Its so funny though b/c I just moved my other boy to where he sleeps right across the hallway from Panda and it makes Panda so mad. He pins his ears back at A.J. and snarls his nose up and barks at him like he would kill him if he could get to him. Its funny b/c A.J. could care less. Anyway, Panda's birthday is tomorrow and I just wanted to tell you again how proud of him my husband and I are. I am going to try to shoot a little video of him in the next week or so to show you how hyper he is and what fun he has out of the least little things. Here is a picture of him I took the other day. Take care!

From Nicole in North Carolina:

From Ashley in Kansas:
Piper is her new name. She is so good, going to the bathroom on her pads. I am just a nervous wreck. Maddie, our dog, is just so excited and wants to play with Piper. Piper is so scared because Maddie is way bigger than her. Maddie is wanting to play and is so excited. I have been sitting on the floor giving them both treats at the same time and they are good then, but once I stop the treats Maddie wants to run and chase Piper and paw at her. She attempts to but I won't let her. I know she is just trying to play, but I am just afraid she will hurt Piper on accident. Please let me know if you have any ideas. I am going to talk to my vet soon.

From Harrison in Massachusetts:
Hey Rhandi!
That is funny u emailed, because I was just thinking about emailing you. (Pebbles) is doing very well and is eating a lot better than she was the first night and day. Sunday night she played this game where she will go get a couple kibbles and then go out to the living room and eat them...it was possibly the cutest thing I've ever seen. I also took her to a pet store yesterday and got her some new sweaters and she made quite an impression on everyone in there...overall she is doing great and I am that much better now that she is here. Thank you so much for giving me all this joy. I will keep you posted.

She just gets cuter by the minute..right now she's sleeping on my feet as i write this email. haha. I don't have a functional camera right now, but when i get one (which should be sometime in the next week or two) i will send you some picture of her. Hope all is well!

From Paula in Kansas:
Hi Rhandi. This is Esa!!! My Mommy and Daddy changed my name to Dixie. I love my new mommy and daddy and they love me too. I know my way around the house and can go in every room now. My Daddy says I am the cutest puppy he has ever had. I decided not to pretend I was quiet and shy anymore and started to run and bite my Mommy and Daddy's feet. They seen to be ok with it. I use my puppy pad to potty every time and my Mommy claps for me and tell me I am a very smart and good girl. I sleep with my Mommy and Daddy every night and sometimes I chew on their ears and noses. They like that too. I think this is a perfect home for me and my new Mommy and Daddy say that I am perfect too. I will let you know how I grow. Thanks for finding me a good home. Love Dixie.

From Abby in Missouri:
Rhandi,
We are really enjoying our new baby! His trip home went well, he sat on my lap most of the way because he cried in the carrier. He is full of fun and loves to chew on anything and everything! Potty training is actually going better than I expected at this point - he goes on the paper almost every time. The kids are having so much fun playing with him! (although Kara is a little jealous of all the attention the new baby is getting :-) ) We want to thank you again for your help in our process of adopting Meeko - he is wonderful!

Dear Rhandi, I haven't been good about keeping in touch, but it has been a very busy year. Bella is doing great! She is a very loving little girl. She is definitely a mama's baby. I wouldn't have it any other way! I watch your website and am sure that I will be looking for a companion for Bella in the near future. My sister-in-law is also looking for a maltese, but would prefere a tiny one. Do you ever have any tinies or teacups? Let me know where I could refer her if you don't. Thank you again so much for Bella! Rhonda |

Dear Rhandi,
OH MY! (Mia) is cuter than we could have imagined! We had dinner, played, and now trying to figure out where she will sleep. The ride home from the airport was quiet, but once we got home, she really started charming us. Honestly, she is just adorable and seems to be adjusting fine. She is playing with her toys, exploring and cuddling with both Joe and I. We were so touched to see the goodies you put in her crate for the trip and the phone call you made while we were on the phone on the other end. I'll give you and update tomorrow. Just wanted you to know all is well on this end. Thanks for taking such good care of her!

Hi Rhandi,
One quick note that will make you laugh:
My friend from work moved a few months ago, to Kansas City. She's a dog lover, and asked about my new puppy. I sent the pictures you took and told her she was a Mal Shi. Interestingly, her friend Tim, from her new job told her yesterday HE was getting a Mal Shi......! Long story short: IT'S YOUR SIMON (now Meeko)!
What a small world, huh?
We are both amazed at the randomness of that!
Thanks again,
JoAnne
|
| ********************************* |
| She's doing great! She seems to understand the outside potty thing. She's not perfect yet, it's really a matter of timing and training us! She had no accidents yesterday at all. She eats, sleeps and plays - all as she should (loves her crate!). She has a wonderful personality that makes us both laugh constantly. She learned how to "sit" in one day - and does it PROUDLY on command.
We love her to death! I'll try to get some new pictures, but just wanted you to know she's doing great.
Regards,
JoAnne

From Melinda in Louisiana:
Rhandi,
It’s been a while since you sent Lulu to us, but I wanted to give you an update and send some pics of our sweet little girl. We could not adore her any more than we do. She is the prettiest little thing we’ve ever seen and her personality is phenominal.
She kind of went through the terrible two’s at about 4-7 months, pooping and peeing everywhere, tearing up everything, crying all the time, etc… I had read the training books but couldn’t get her to behave. So we put her in beginner’s training classes at Pet Smart. We both went with her each week so we could teach her consistently. We saw an immediate improvement in her personality/behavior. She graduated the 8 week course like a champ. Then we put her in the intermediate classes and again she was so happy socializing with the other dogs and owners, graduating top of her class. She is really good at learning tricks and she loves to do her training every day. We plan to put her in the next advanced class when it starts in February. She behaves well when we take her to other people’s homes, and on outings.
I don’t have her kennel trained, but in November I wanted to take her on a trip with me to Austin. I was wondering how I would do it since she is not accustomed to confined spaces. I had week to get her acclimated to the small airline approved bag that she would have to sit in for 5 hours going both ways. I was worried she would cry and make a scene, but she was so good.
This year for Christmas we sent out Christmas cards with Lulu’s picture. Everybody loved the card with her picture in it. I’ll attach the pic we sent just below. There’s a second one that turned out good too and it was hard to decide which pic to put in the Christmas cards. Hope you had a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
You know they say that small dogs usually prefer one owner over another but she loves us both equally. She’s the most affectionate little thing (to everyone).
The two pics below were taken a few months ago at our friends (Pete & Nina’s) backyard Barbeque. One is with Mommie and the other is with Daddy (Eric – who incidentally is head over heels for her - he is the best daddy).
Thanks again Rhandi for our little ray of sunshine.
Sincerely, Melinda |

From Christina in New York:
Rhandi,
We decided to name him Stewie, but keep Maksim as his middle name."Stewie Maks" is on his dog tag.
He has been such a joy! He sleeps frequently and deeply, but only for
about 1-2 hours at a time. When he plays, he plays like he's on top
of the world! He does that for about 40 minutes to an hour before he
gets tired.
He loves to look at himself in the mirror, lay on his back to get his
tummy scratched, and snuggling in my lap or on Albert's neck.
I already ordered his food, that should be coming in soon. I still
have some left from what you sent.
He's about 90% potty pad trained. I'm very impressed with how quickly
he learns. I haven't been taking him outside to wander around because
he seems extremely sensitive to the cold despite wearing a sweater,
and I want to make sure he gets all his shots before he comes in
contact with other dogs and plants.
I already taught him how to "sit" and "down". Though now he thinks
everytime I say "want to do tricks?" and bring out his training treats
(all natural ingredients) he immediately goes into the "down" position
and defeats the whole training excercise. =)
He's in between fiesty, but cuddly and learns very quickly. In all,
I'm very happy with how we ended up with Stewie Maks. He is a great
fit to our lives right now.
Thank you so much Rhandi!

From Candy in Kansas:
Hi Rhandi, Just wanted to let you know (Stella) ended up in bed with us about 1:30 this morn. I let her cry for a couple of hours and couldn't stand it any longer! After that she slept a little and chewed on one of Nelson's bones that he had taken to bed. She ate a little for me when we got up so I think she will settle in just fine. The other dogs are jealous (of course) but again I think everyone will settle in given time. Last night it was late and everything so new and different all at once is overwhelming for all of them. I will let you know as soon as I can get in to see my vet. Still don't know what I am going to name her. I always agonize over that part of it!! Thanks. Candy

From the Day Family in California:
We all were so excited to see Lola- she is so beautiful. We watched her plane land and then waited for them to bring out the present from Santa. The kids were so excited, jumping up and down and screaming in the luggage claim. Lola was not scared, her tail was going and she was happy. We cleaned her up and came straight home. She fits right in! She just runs around checking everything out and wanting to sit on everyone's lap and give kisses. You were right, she really is sweet! She cried a little in the night, but slept pretty good. She also ate some more food and water. This morning, Santa left two presents under the tree, one a new bed for Lola and the other a Christmas suit just like Santa. The children picked a new name for her- Liliana or "Lily" for short. Thank you again for everything- she is just perfect! I will send pictures soon. Day family

Hey Rhandi,
Preston is doing great, although he gets too excited for my kitty, jumping on him. Paris just likes to observe and sometimes sniff him. I think they are going to be great friends. Preston does have separation anxiety and crys and screams when we leave, which I don't know what to do about that. He likes his crate and will walk in there to sleep. I put him in his crate at night and put it on a side table next to my bed so he faces me and sleeps next to me. So it is not the crate but being alone he hates and I have tried leaving the radio on, I think he just has to get used to being alone for a while. Other than that he is a doll and there have not been any accidents on the carpet or anything. Everyone loves him and he is so sweet. Thank you for everything.

From Jessie in California:
Hi Rhandi,
Crate training has been very difficult, but slowly he
is getting better, I hope. Everything about him is
perfect except for his whining and barking, which just
breaks my heart. Bunker is so consistent on peeing on
the newspaper, which I found so amazing...Thank you!
He already knows how to sit and come to me on command.
When he first did this, I thought it was a
miracle...haha...he is so smart! He is very active,
playful and loving. Also, I just got back from the
vet and they find him so adorable. They said that I
was lucky because Bunker seems to be very healthy and
I will send you the vets paper confirming it. By the
way, I decided to keep his name Bunker, my husband and
I just couldn't seem to find the right name for him.
Thank you so much for being so available and following
up. I have videos of bunker, but no pictures yet...I
have been so busy since he arrived I haven't had the
time, but I will be sure to send them to you as soon
as I can. Have a great day!!! See Bunker's video here!!

From Becky in Louisiana:
(read more feedback from Becky here)
Hi Rhandi.
Just wanted to let you know that my little Tess is doing really well. She is almost seven months now and weighs 3.6 lbs. She is quite sassy and such a busy, busy little girl. She is extremely lovable when she wants to be which is usually when she’s tired, the rest of the time she is just too busy for loving and is constantly running from room to room, playing with her toys, and standing on the back of the couch looking out the window guarding the house. She has the typical little dog attitude, I think she’s convinced herself that she’s a Rottweiler. She was spayed several weeks ago. The vet insisted that she stay overnight but I insisted that I bring her home with me. I just couldn’t stand the thought of that little tiny thing staying all by herself in the vet’s office overnight. I felt that she would feel and do much better at home with familiar smells and sounds. It broke my heart to see her hurting and she had the most pathetic little whimper. She also had to have four of her baby teeth pulled. The vet said that I will need to bring her back in the next couple of months to have some more baby teeth pulled. She said it’s very common in puppies as small as Tess that they usually have to have their baby teeth surgically removed because for some reason, the baby teeth don’t fall out like they do in larger dogs. The vet gave me a little envelope marked “Tess’s baby teeth.” I was quite surprised at how they looked as they were just little tiny straight stick looking things with sharp points on one end. Tess has gone on her first trip out of town. I took her to Houston with me to visit my daughter which is about a 350 mile drive from where I live. Going and coming, after being in the car for the first fifteen minutes or so, she got car sick and threw up but after that, it was free sailing and she just laid in her carrier and slept. Krystal has a HUGE cat and I was concerned about how the two would interact. They ended up being buddies and played together non-stop. It was quite entertaining watching them play.

From Wendy in Pennsylvania:
Hi Rhandi,
It's been a while since we bought our baby from you, but since it was around this time of year (two whole years ago!) that we adopted Maya, I've been reminiscing about how we found her online , and how she came to live with us. I had saved the emails between us, including the ones from the day you dropped her at the airport, and then emailed us to let us know that she was on her way. I looked up your website, and saw that she's still on the alumni page, and thought I might send you a couple photos to bring you up to date. She is the light of our whole family's life! So comical and smart, we all marvel at the big dog mentality hiding in that tiny little body! She actually sleeps in a little fabric house between the pillows on our bed at night and every night I fall asleep petting her. We love her to pieces! Thank you so much for providing us with such a wonderful family member that we can't even imagine living without. You were wonderful from start to finish and I just wanted to make sure that you knew what a great job did.
This past summer, we took Maya with us on our family vacation to Myrtle Beach, SC and these are some of the pictures from then, and a couple from at home. By the way, she loved the warm tide pools and waded right in!

Hi Rhandi,
I named the puppy Rainy because when I adopted him it was the rainy season here in Florida and he was (and still is) crazy about the rain. I also call him Shorty, which everyone gets a kick when I use it because he is a little fella.
I'm extremely happy with Rainy. All of my dogs in the past were super and funny, but this dog is special to me because he's so affectionate. He's really an intelligent dog and has needed no training or scolding. I've been extremely impressed with him and feel incredibly lucky. Also, he's one of the most beautiful dogs I've ever seen! His fur coat is magnificent -- very red with black markings down the back and a cream chest. He's gorgeous. I'll download some pics and send them to you.
I'll be in touch.

From Becky in Louisiana:
So good to hear from you Rhandi. I just wanted to let you know that the visit to the vet last Friday went well. ...everyone in the office literally fell in love with (Tess). At the first visit, she weighed 1 lb. 6 ozs. and at the second visit, she weighed 1 lb. 9 ozs. She got another round of vaccinations and was such a little trooper, didn’t even let out a peep when they gave her the shots... She is a very happy and busy little girl and keeps me laughing; I absolutely love her to pieces. I’m having a battle with my oldest daughter as she keeps begging me to give Tess to her. My very firm response is a definite NO!!! My other daughter and her husband that live in Houston were here to visit over the weekend. Krystal’s husband is a big guy, 6’6” and it was very amusing to see such a big guy loving up on such a tiny little puppy. Until later my friend!

Hi Rhandi!
Sorry for not getting back with you sooner, I’ve been off for a few days. I’m in the process of remodeling the room where my home computer is so for the time being, I only have access to email here at work. Maggie’s name is now Tess; Maggie just didn’t seem to fit her. I am happy to say that my little Tess is doing great. I had to quit bringing her to work because too many people kept stopping by the office over and over again to visit and play with her. She is the most precious and delightful little ball of fur. My heart just overflows with love every time I look at her. She’s quite spunky and seems to know no fear. I was sitting out in the yard in a chair this weekend and my daughter was over with her three dogs. Tess was in my lap and suddenly leaped from my lap to the ground to chase after one of the dogs. Poor little thing landed smack dab on her little face and jumped up snorting and shaking her little tiny head. I was so afraid that she had hurt herself and I immediately picked her up but she started fighting me wanting down so she could run “with the big dogs.” One of them is a very small Shih Tzu and Tess just loved grabbing onto her tail and ears. The poor little Shih Tzu was so patient and would just try to shake Tess off. And of course, as with most little dogs, Tess has no idea that she is a tiny little thing... ...She has made herself at home and seems to be a very happy little girl. She loves her toys and loves for me to throw them so she can run after them. For bedtime, I have placed her little crate up by the headboard where the pillow normally is and she goes into her crate at night just a few inches away from my head and she does fine. She lays down and stays there until about 5:00 or 5:30 in the morning. I’m not quite ready to get up at that time so I let her out of the crate and she plays with me in bed for awhile.Potty training is coming along slowly. As long as I play close attention and take her out at regular intervals, she goes outside but if I forget, she finds a quiet corner in the house to do her business. She’s coming along though and has seemed to grasp the idea that the reason I take her outside is to do her business. I’ve placed a little bell down low by the door and each time I take her out, I ring it hoping that she’ll come to know that if she needs to go out, all she has to do is ring the bell. My little Frannie would just always go and sit by the door until I noticed her sitting there – don’t know why I never thought of hanging a bell for her. I just love Tess to pieces and want to thank you again for helping to bring this precious little thing into the world. I am looking so forward to having a long and happy life with her.
Thanks again, Becky |

From Stephanie in Nevada:
Rhandi,
Just thought I'd send you an update. Things are great here, even if it is ungodly hot. Lita has been doing great! A few potty accidents here and there, but nothing major. She did knock down her doggy gate while I was teaching aerobics last night, but at least she was good while she was out, nothing had been gotten into or pottied on. I had a friend secure the gate much better for me for the next time I have to work. Her food came yesterday and at least she's eating now, I don't think she did much at all the first two days. I just keep food and water available at all time and let her go in there whenever she wants...
I couldn't of asked for a better puppy! She's so loving. I think if she had her way everyone would lay down on the floor w/ her so she could give kisses and then chew on their ears. She loves EVERYONE and she's been so good, even on a short car ride. She's just so chill about everything, esp compared to the two male cockers I've raised. Everyone wants her, but she's all MINE. :) I have to stop myself from squeezing her too hard she's so darn huggable. Her favorite spot (unless she's playing w/ all her toys) is right under my computer chair, between the legs. I think likes the plastic rolling chair protector under it, it's probably cooler than the carpet. I always make sure I never move the chair, I'm very afraid I might roll over her or something.
I'm quite nervous about leaving her when I work a real shift tomorrow. At least it's not a super-late weekend shift yet. . .
thanks so much Rhandi!
Happy 4th of July!!
:)

Hi Rhandi!Sorry I did not emailed you before but we arrived to Italy on Friday
and my Vet. saw Hugo yesterday. He is perfectly healthy, very happy
and playful. I've started giving him the Royal Canin food and he seems
to like it very much.He is adorable and everyone who sees him falls immediatelly in love
with him. He has become my shadow, I cannot live him alone one moment
because he cries. But the Vet. told me yesterday I must start to
educate him immediatelly so he learns to be alone for short periods, to
sleep in his room , etc, etc.I'm really very happy and you were right, HE IS A FANTASTIC PUPPY!!!!!!
Thanks again for all your patience and support! Dolores |

From Anita in Kansas:Hi Rhandi, Not sure if you remember me (or this is still a current email address), but I bought a long hair Chi from you back in 2003. These are a few pictures of her, Koko. She is so loving and playful. Her other little playmate Chi died a couple weeks ago. Danielle, my daughter, who I believe you also met, took it very hard. She had her little Chi since she was 9 yrs old and she is now 22.I was wondering if you still sell these tiny tea cup puppies? We are thinking of buying a tea cup smooth coat Chi. Danielle remembers the white one you had back then, so she was either wanting a white one or a tan one. I hope all is going well with you. Take care!

Hi Rhandi!!!!! :) I just went to your site to see your two new baby mal-chis. They are adorable! Macon is doing great! We've changed his name to Toby. He's potty-trained already but has started barking a lot whenever we leave the house. He's still a baby and doesn't like to be left alone but we've been trying to train him to get use to being alone for short periods of time throughout the day. He's super smart though! When he knows we're in the house, he won't whine or bark when we lock him up in his play pen, but once we open the front door to leave the house, then he starts going crazy. He's learned how to sit, shake hands, and walk on his hind legs. I should try sending you the videos next time :). He loves playing catch and tug-a-war. He's really playful with every and anyone. Whenever I have company over he loves to jump and lick them all. Even when we take him out for walks. Thank you for raising such a loveable and adorable puppy! He's been a joy in my life! I've attached some pictures for you :) Hope you enjoy them. I'll update you with more stories!
Always, Lois

From Linda in California:
Hi Rhandi, Worked this weekend, I was going to email you and send some
pictures. I will have my husband send pictures this week, I don't know how. Anyway, where do I begin...we LOVE her so much. She is so smart, she was
trained to pottie in one hour. I use a doggie pan and pads because I don't
like to have them outside in winter, since she is so white. She knows to
pottie after she eats, then she gets out of her playpen to play. She is
eating very good and growing, I can see a difference in her face. She has
visited the Vet, had a shot and in two weeks we go back. Shu*Shu plays with
her when she is in the mood, I think a few more weeks and she will be fine
with her. I loved her name but we had to change it to Charline because I
used the word "candy" for Shu*Shu's meds, I didn't want her to be confused.
So we called her Charline as soon as she arrived and she likes it I guess
because she comes to us. She is so special, and so cute, she plays cute,
and runs like a little lamb with a little hop step. The vet said she was
healthy and she weights 2 pounds 3oz now. She gained one ounce in a week.
We purchased a few very small toys for her and a new pink bed, which she
loves, but she demands to sleep with us, so we make a little nest with her
blanket and she runs and gets in it for bed, and she sleeps there all night
and wakes me about 7 am for breakfast. She is a very good baby, and we love
her. Thank you so much for our little girl. Kind Regards, Linda & Jan

From Julien in Louisiana:
Hey Rhandi. Everything is going great here. (Gabby) is an absolute joy and we could not have gotten a better puppy than her. She is everything I was looking for and more. Every time I look at her face, I just have to hug her. I HATE leaving her when I go to work but my fiance goes to work at 3:30 in the afternoon and I get off at 4. So, she is only alone for an hour by herself everyday which makes me feel so much better. Plus, she has our lab to play with. She LOVES Remi's (our lab) tail. Remi is acting like a mother figure to her. We are working on potty training right now. So far so good. She is doing really well. We had a few accidents but she is catching on quick. She has way too many toys and so much love. I just wanted to say thank you for giving me my baby! She is perfect in every way. I am fixing to try and find my cord to upload pictures for you. I promise to send some ASAP. Talk to you soon! Julien

How are you, Rhandi?
Madison and I are doing very well! We’re actually moving to Los Angeles together in a few weeks. It’s very exciting. She and I were actually both featured in a magazine called, NYLON. I will attach it for you to see. I might be contacting you soon as I will be getting a much bigger apartment in Los Angeles and I might be looking into getting a second dog for Madison to have with her. ...I might have to do another Brussels. So keep me in the loop if you should ever get a really cute little girl. I cannot tell you how much Madison has changed my life. I couldn’t live without her. She is all I think about. Thank you so much for sending me this blessing. I will take lots of pictures of her in Hollywood and send it to you for your website.

Hi Rhandi! ...our daughter Kaylan was talking so much about Frankie...I thought I’d write to you about him... Her birthday is actually in August...so I will be in touch in a month or so when they get out of school...I know the most important thing for us is to have a sweet puppy like Belly. She has all of our hearts and we’d hope to find another little cutie to be her best bud... Belly’s under 4 lbs...she doesn’t like getting on the vet’s scale (hard to get her to sit still to get a weight...poor lil thing shakes whenever we’re at the vet)... and she’s usually bundled up in one of her winter sweaters...but she’s just a teenie bopper!! She fits well in the XS winter sweaters ...but still wears the smallest cat’s ‘harness’ type collar that I can find...she’s such a cutie-pa-tooie!!! I will have Luke upload some more recent photos of her and send them your way!
Belly’s snoozing on my lap as I write to you...but I know she’d send her little kisses your way if she were awake!

Good morning Rhandi,
Well, we made it through the night. (Millie) was quite active until about 11pm our time and even then, when we tried to go to bed, she had a hard time settling down. I finally put her back in her carrier, next to my bed, where she cried for about 15 minutes (I would talk to her every once in a while so she knew I was there) and then she fell asleep. She has licked up the Nutri-Cal (I thought I got the Nutri-Stat but it was the Cal for puppies) when I offer it to her, but hasn’t drank much water yet. She is using the wee pad so she seems to know what that is all about. She is as sweet as can be. I am so pleased. Thanks much, I will let you know how things progress.

Hi Rhandi- The darling Eloise is doing very well in Illinois. She has assumed the queen role in our house and order the older dogs (Samantha 80 pound boxer) and Pretzel (50 pound lab mix) around. She has them completely under control. It is amusing. I am writing because you gave us some food when we first purchased Eloise - and it seemed like you had researched quite a bit about the best food for dogs. I was using a dog food recommended by my vet - but this recent dog food recall really spooked me. The food I am using was not recalled - but when I did some research I found there have been some FDA recalls for my brand (Nature's Recipe). Could you send me the name and website for the food you recommend again? Here is a picture of three amigos!

Dear Randi, I have been wanting to write for a long time just to let you know how we have come to love our cutie-pie! She has become the center of our family, and has brought us so much joy! She is our 1st family dog. Over the years we have allways had cats, I was not really ever interested in having a dog. In fact when my husband told me that he wanted to get Em a dog i gave him a hard time. Well to say the least my heart has melted since Cutie has come.Just a thought for the future, please let us know if Cutie's mom and dad ever have more tea-cup puppies! We would consider a sister for her! Em's computer has been down it just started working today. She looooves the picture on the website!! Thank you! Hope to hear from you,

Rhandi,
I can hardly believe I've had Carlie Girl for almost a year now. I can't even explain how much joy she has brought us!!! !!!!!!! People think they're funny when they call her our baby, but she really is!!! She is so smart and full of energy. She can sit, stay and leave it thanks to puppy classes we took her to (she needed to socialize). She likes to sleep under the covers at night with us and sometimes she even sleep's on my lap all night, I feel so special when she does. She is such a Miss. Piggy, don't try to eat around her unless you have food for her!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! One of her favorite things is heaters. We have one set up in the living room and bedroom, plus a heating pad in her bed for her naps to make sure she is always warm. I love it when she hears the dryer door opening and expects to be able to lay on top of all the warm/clean clothes out of the dryer while she bites at me when I try to fold the clothes. =) I get a little jealous when she gets excited to see her Daddy but I know who her favorite is. I could go on and on about her, but I will try to contain myself. She just wanted to say Hello and show you how cute she is. I've been trying to get her a boyfriend, but I've been told no. We're working on it though =). THANK YOU SOOOOO MUCH FOR SUCH A PERFECT, SWEET, BEAUTIFUL PUPPY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
She misses you,
Carlie Girl & Laurie
The pictures show her in the snow/cold and the 80% hot weather with a cool rag on her so she's not too hot =). Plus piled under a load of warm/clean laundry. |

I wanted to give you a quick update on Milo and Higgins (I changed their names to Jack and Eddie). They are doing well and have become part of the family. Even our cat plays with them from time to time. I couldn't be more pleased with the two of them. Their personalities are starting to come out and they are becoming two distinctly different dogs. I do not regret in any way getting two of them as they always have a companion with them and they seem much more confident with everything they take on (even visiting the vet). The training can be a little more challenging, but I will always be happy with that decision.
Thanks again,
Tanya
